The Child Development Center offers many programs to meet the needs of the Coast Guard community, all designed to provide an educational, safe and nurturing environment for children ages six weeks to five years old. Programs are based on the beliefthat children learn best by doing, and that the best learning occurs through play.

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy Child Development Center is a certified Coast Guard Child Development program and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
