Tall Ship Eagle
3/c Thomas Kennedy

So far, my time aboard the Eagle has had many ups and downs. There is a lot of hard work that can be tedious, such as cleaning and cooking, but it really helps us understand everything that is required to keep a ship running. On the other hand, there have been a lot of exciting things that have happened. We have all learned so much and experienced some wonderful things. For example, I got qualified as a helm and look-out watchstander and stood my very own qualified watch.

In addition, we have so much fun underway. My classmates and I got to see Bermuda, and spent four days in Charleston, South Carolina. It is pretty cool to see how close my class has grown this summer. Overall, I think we will remember the good times we have experienced on Eagle for years to come.
